Watermelon Shop finally is open to the public. We've got a brand spanking new restored 1927 building to call our own. The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to restore this building to what it looked like when it was built in 1927. The original tin ceilings have been restored and the windows across the top of the awning have been lovingly replaced this time with double paned energy friendly windows. The facade is really something to see too! The oak doors in the friendly recessed door way is centered between two show windows. Best of all the non traditional giant 3D watermelon sign that boasts our location to the entire town can be seen for miles in any direction. Sounds aweful doesn't it? But it's not, the whole town thinks its crazy fun and it typical of how we do things in Texas.. Bigger and Better! Well our sign is certainly big, if you visit us in Luling, you won't have any trouble finding us.
